Padbrook Park Hotel

Rooms are a bit dated but the service we received was good. Great place for a stopover on the way to Exeter or Cornwall

Stopped here for lunch on Tuesday and the food was lovely. And the best triple cooked chips I’ve ever eaten. So we went back for the Sunday lunch today. I had pork, and my wife had beef. Both were excellent and plenty of meat too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth dropping in at any time.

After getting married in the local area, we recommended to our guests to stay at Padbrook. We were not dissappointed. We asked if we could come and have breakfast as a group on the day after the wedding and Padbrook were extremely accomodating. They put on a great breakfast, which loads of family and friends explained how great it was. The food was plentiful and of great quality.Thanks ever so much for doing this for us. You made our great day even better, so thank you very much.

I booked my reservation a year ago as I was attending a wedding and I needed to ensure I had a room. I contacted this hotel a month before my reservation date to check it was still booked and I was very relieved that they had all of my details. My room was clean and spacious with a plentiful breakfast. All of the staff were very welcoming. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

All friendly and helpful. There was a wedding party staying who were late down for breakfast and they kept the hot food on till they were done.

We had our wedding at Padbrook Park Hotel & I could not recommend the hotel & staff enough. We had the most incredible wedding planner, Sarah Buckley & I truly cannot thank her enough. Running up to the wedding we had multiple meetings to go over everything & Sarah was beyond amazing. She is the kindest & funniest individual & we are so lucky to have had her to plan our wedding. On the day, Sarah had the staff all over everything & not once did I have to ask her to do something or change anything. I have had multiple people compliment how fantastic the food was for our wedding breakfast & I would truly recommend to anyone having their wedding at Padbrook. The facilities are fantastic including very clean bedrooms. We could not believe the quality of the breakfast the next morning with the fresh produce. Sarah, we truly cannot thank you enough & our day really would not have been the same if you hadn't made it so special. You are a true asset to Padbrook & I hope for the hotel that you are there for a very very long time. We will be returning soon for a beef roast like we had for our wedding breakfast! Thank you again.

Nice hotel situated in a park setting a bit outside the village which ensures a quiet environment. The rooms and the bathrooms are large and they are equipped with good beds. Good service a check in and when asking for plate to eat our dinner food that we bought in the village. Large free parking around this park hotel. Good price quality offering. Would recommend staying here.

Stayed at the padbrook hotel for a wedding recently. The overall hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was a really good spread, and exactly what you would expect to see from a buffet breakfast. The room we stayed in was more than adequete for what we required, and was clean. Maybe slightly 'tired' looking, as some use of refurbishment down the line might not go a miss, but its a minor observation and not a complaint. The location of the hotel was ideal, especially to where we needed to get to for the upton barn wedding venue, while also being very quiet as it is situated outside of the main town. Only shame is the hotel seemed to used to have a fitness/gym centre, but that appears to have closed for a couple of years now. All in all, I would visit again.
